Our breeding snakes at Laurelborn are first and foremost beloved family members. Well-tended enclosures (many bioactive!) and regular attention ensure that our sweet serpents stay happy and healthy. Our African house snakes make absolutely wonderful pets regardless of keeper experience level. They are a great choice for kiddos just starting in the hobby. Our youngest daughter started keeping her house snake at only 7 years old!
Our current breeding projects are producing some stunning offspring! All of our Boaedon capensis and fuliginosus (B. capensis and B. fuliginosus) were acquired from Bushveld Reptiles, one of the east coast's premier breeders of African house snakes. Bushveld recently relocated to the USA along with gorgeous stock from South Africa. Our snakes have produced several different morphs, all beautiful and eagerly waiting to join your family!
Laurelborn's snakes are captive-bred and kept with health and comfort as our priority. They thrive on a diet of ethically-raised mice, produced in-house at our mousery. Our breeding snakes live as family pets in large, bioactive enclosures. Hatchlings enjoy natural substrate, appropriate hides and water dishes, are kept at optimal temperatures and humidity levels, and are monitored frequently to ensure they are thriving before joining new families.
Laurelborn manages a storefront on MorphMarket and we are happy to arrange local pickup and delivery in South Jersey, Philadelphia, and the surrounding areas; please visit our MorphMarket page for prices and availability!
