September 2021 Capes

Our 2021 B. capensis hatchlings were produced by our gorgeous dam, Daphne (T+ albino, het T-, het hypo) and our sweet sire, Julius (T+ albino, het T-, het hypo). 

These hatchings joined us in late August 2022, and I know our family wasn't the only one that had just been blown away by season 4 of Stranger Things that summer! It seemed like Stranger Things references were happening left and right in our home, so why not continue to make the characters household names? 

We are especially excited about this batch of hatchlings because we've not only produced out first hybinos, but we're also working on proving a hunch that double-expression of T- and T+ ("stacked" albinos) results in a gorgeous golden iris! It possible that it's just a product of the lines were working with, but in either case, our "stacked" albinos/hybinos are real stunners!
